A spike, a caltrop, a chunk of rubble. With so few faces it reads as sharp from every angle, and it costs almost nothing to scatter in quantity.

Its radius is measured to the corners and its faces sit much closer in than that, so it comes out looking considerably smaller than a ball given the same number. Size it against its actual bounds rather than against the radius.
