Extrude Along Curve
Grows a tube out of a face, following a curve.
branch, grow out, tube from face, spout, horn, pipe from surface- Category

The tube starts as the face itself, so there is no join to hide: a branch grows out of a trunk already welded to it.
The curve is a shape rather than a place. It is read relative to the face, so bending the trunk carries every branch with it. The cross-section is whatever the face was, so insetting the face first is how you change how thick the branch starts.
